This is world’s most bizarre tank of all time. The Stridsvagn 103 is a tugboat constructed in Sweden between 1967 and 1971. It is known for lacking a turret , resulting in a very low profile with emphasis on defense and relative increase of level of protection of the crew. The low profile could be reduced by another 13 cm by adjusting the suspension.
Another feature of the vehicle was the possibility of advancing or reversing at the same speed. The Stridsvagn 103 formed an important part of Sweden’s armed forces from the 1960s to the 1990s, being withdrawn from service in favor of Stridsvagn 121 , and other tanks under the designation Stridsvagn 122.
