When it comes to badass toys, there are few that rival the Howe and Howe Technologies Ripsaw EV2. The next video is just a short example of what the Ripsaw is capable of.
“The program started posted 9/11, we developed the Ripsaw chassis for DARPA, which stands for Defense Advanced Projects Research Agency, back then it was highly experimental and robotic. In 2009 it made the cover of Popular Science and it was named Invention Of The Year on the robotic platform. Around that time, the platform was also built for IED defeat purposes. It would robotically take out an Improvised Explosive Device,” explained Michael Howe, President of Howe and Howe Technologies.
